The normal route and the East ridge, is the easy
route's to the summit, but to reach the foot of the crag you need to pass a big glacier with many crevasses.
If you are heading for the summit, be shore of good weather since the mountain in bad
weather can be very dangerous. Dent d'Hérens is a very beautiful mountain just close to Matterhorn, but the described access is from the valley Valpelline.
