The rock climbing in Sisteron offers two
choices; climb on the slab or on a gentle overhang. The crag is suited just
near the centre of the small town, crowded with locals, French tourists
and flowers. Picturesque and beautiful often called the Gateway to Provence.
The big Fort has a history back to 11th century. Bars, restaurants, shops,
it is all there for the tourists.
The climbing crag offers about 70 routes, and if you are not going for to
spend a holiday in Sisteron, stop for a nice climbing day as you going from
Céüse heading for Buoux.
