Colle di Tenda, rock climbing at 1900 m. At the border France/Italy a small rock climbing crag offers excellent climbing at high altitude. Except for climbers also a spot for Parapente.
Near the ski resort Limone Piemonte, with a wonderful view you find this climbing crag.

In this part of Italy and France, the Maritime Alps, you will find ancient "salt routes" used for commerce with the other side of the Alps. In the 16th century a new route for transporting salt was opened between Nice and Turin trough Colle di Tende. The France part of this area, with villages as Tende and La Brigue, was ceded to France by Italy in 1947 as a reparation for World War II.

The rock climbing in the pass is very nice, and the views are fascinating.
The crag doesn't offer much rock climbing routes, but most of them are beautiful. Because of the high altitude the crag is perfect for warm mid summer days, and as a complement to all the other crags that coronn.com present in the Topos "Alpi Marittime" it is well worth visiting.

If you bring a Mountain bike or a "Parapente" this is a perfect spot for to start your bike journey / flight.

The road up to the pass is full of hairpin bends and the last kilometres is on a gravelled road, so it will take you some time, but the access from the car to the crag takes only 5 minutes.
