general is facing South so the summer will be to hot.

weekends a lot of climbers show up, and in a region with some millions of
inhabitants that is understandable.
Pleasure,
at resting days, there is no problems to find things to do and things to
see.
Between the villages La Turbie, Monte Carlo
/ Monaco and Cap-d"Ail the crags offer superb rock climbing. Located only
25 kilometres from Nice airport it could be a spot for a cheap journey and
nice rock climbing a couple of days.
The
climbing area has more than 500 routes in various grades, and it is a pleasure
to visit since so many climbers is climbing on a high level. The climbing
area is easy to access and you will find some routes only 2-3 minutes from
the car park. The view from the rock climbing crags is beautiful, with an
overlook of Monaco, Monte Carlo, Nice and Menton.
In
the village La Turbie, a couple of kilometres from the crag, you find shops,
food stores, restaurants and Hotels.
If
you travel with car and doesnt have a French numberplate, a tip is to park
the car just outside the gate to the "Telecom Fort" where the area is controlled
by video cameras (no guaranties though).
Take
a look at Internet before you leave, the area has a lot of activities as
sport events (tennis, football), concerts and culture events at Museums.
The rock climbing area La Turbie / Monaco is regarded to be one of the best areas in this
part of the coast line, so take a look at the Net for a good price on a
flight to Nice and look forward for some nice rock climbing.
