![]()
Mont blanc du tacul is easy to reach, just a short walk from Agille du Midi. Because of that the mountain is very popular among week end climbers, ice climbers and for ski mountaineering. The mountain offers easy glacier access, but also serious rock and ice climbing.
The TOPOS describes the easy North-West Face route to the summit and the Gervasutti.
Probably one of The Mountain above 4000 m that has most access with an approach on snow on maximum 40-45 degrees of the sloop and the Agille du Midi 3 hours from the summit.
Visitors
in general use the ski lift system from Chamonix, the ones that suffer walks from Punta Hellbrunner or Rifugio Torino Nuovo on the Italian side.
During July and August as many as 100 persons per day or more find pleasure of the glacier or the ice couloirs and granite big walls.
In
the Topos you will find all necessary information for the ascent, with pictures,
information and detailed maps to reach the summit on the easy route, step walking, or serious step snow/ice climbing in the Gervasutti couloir.
