Baden-Baden, located in the South-West part of Germany, near the French border, offer good rock climbing and has a reputation to be a convention town.

Schwartzwald, The Black Forest, begins south of Karlsruhe and Ettlingen and you can find some crags where rock climbing is possible spread in the Black Forest. See some pictures from Battert and from KGB-türme, superb rock climbing in Germany.
