You will find Kotecnik in the forest above the small village Liboje in the east of Slovenia. Those crags are considered to be one of the best rock climbing area in Slovenia, with excellent quality of limestone rock, varied nature of routes and a wide range of difficulty. After a quite long approach the crags will satisfy anyone, placed in a beautiful surrounding in the forest. Quiet, peaceful.

Near Kotecnik the crag Kamnik offers many easy rock climbing routes though Kotecnik is to be recommended for climbing tourists that want the best of what the area could offer.
Slovenia is a small country, and it will take about two hours from Bled to Kotecnik. The High roads has perfect standard though you have to pay to use them, and watch out for the traffic police, which seems to be very effective in Slovenia.

Celje, taste some beer at Lasko (10 km south of Celje) that has been brewed here since 1825 or visit the picturesque village of Svetina.
