Stugun, east of Östersund, in Sweden, is a small village with a great granite rock climbing area just at the outskirts of the village. Stugun offers an unlimited access to the great outdoors with a wild nature, and one of the great rivers of Sweden, Indalsälven, is passing near the crag.
The area is easily accessible and family friendly, with a car park a couple of hundreds metres from the crag, free camping in the wood just by the crags and food shops in walking distance.
Climbing in SwedenIn this part of Sweden you could have sun in the middle of the night during summer and the best rock climbing and bouldering season is late June to the end of August.
