in Sweden, is a small village with a great granite rock climbing area just
at the outskirts of the village. Stugun offers an unlimited access to the
great outdoors with a wild nature, and one of the great rivers of Sweden,
Indalsälven, is passing near the crag.
The area is easily accessible and family friendly,
with a car park a couple of hundreds metres

by the crags and food shops in walking distance.
In
this part of Sweden you could have sun in the middle of the night during

find more climbing.
Östersund,
50 km from Stugun, is a town in the county Jämtland, about exactly
in the middle of Sweden. Around the town there is unlimited access to the
great outdoors with a wild nature. Water, mountains and forest can be seen
all around. In the lake Storsjön you could, if you are lucky, see the
monster that is protected by law (read about
it). Storsjön has its main inflow from the Indalsälven where
water gathers from the mountain streams and rapids. The clean, clear water
gives the lake its character and makes for numerous leisure time activities,
fishing, paddling/canoeing.
The
town offers cafés, pubs, out door cafés and restaurants. And
during summer Jamtli History land, a unique in- outdoor museum, gives you an opportunity to relive Swedish
history and the Laplanders history.
If
you arrive with a flight Östersund/Frösön is the airport.
Rent a car or take the bus to the centre and then change bus to reach Stugun.
Buy some chemicals to protect yourself from Swedish mosquitous and enjoy
the wilderness.
