Climbing in Sweden

Stugun, east of Östersund, in Sweden, is a small village with a great granite rock climbing area just at the outskirts of the village. Stugun offers an unlimited access to the great outdoors with a wild nature, and one of the great rivers of Sweden, Indalsälven, is passing near the crag.
The area is easily accessible and family friendly, with a car park a couple of hundreds metres from the crag, free camping in the wood just by the crags and food shops in walking distance.

Sweden, Rock climbing and boulderingÖstersund, 50 km from Stugun, is a town in the county Jämtland, about exactly in the middle of Sweden. Around the town there is unlimited access to the great outdoors with a wild nature. Water, mountains and forest can be seen all around. In the lake Storsjön you could, if you are lucky, see the monster that is protected by law (read about it). Storsjön has its main inflow from the Indalsälven where water gathers from the mountain streams and rapids. The clean, clear water gives the lake its character and makes for numerous leisure time activities, fishing, paddling/canoeing.
