4.4. Sewing machines

Two old but functional sewing machines, one Pfaff 953 with post bed and one Singer 311K. Now I have the necessary machines not only for to sew a cabriolet, but also for to start a mini-production of some ideas that I have.

Today we have sun, as most often, and I hope that I can finish what I started yesterday, with filler, sandpaper and a lot of dusty work I slowly are getting a nice finish on the inside. I use the same type of filler as for wood (constructions), it is cheap, does it works and later I will put on a thin layer of epoxy before I paint it. The sun is quite low during autumn and I put the coach work on the trailer and then it is easy to take it to the back-side of our house where it is sun and warm.

You have a great idea keep up the great work. I will follow you to the finished project . What type of wood is used in the frame for the front wheel and motor part.

Hi John, and thank’s. The wood is plywood, reinforced with fibre glass and epoxy, and as you can see in 1.9. and 2.1. I used parts of a street bike that is inbedded in the wood and epoxy construction.
